Two beetles want to throw a party and bake a hundred cakes. But the insects who want to come and turned away: the dragonfly is a show-off, the fly is too intelligent, the ladybird sings out of tune and the bumblebees are too strong. The other insects organise their own party and have a good time. Meanwhile, the two beetles are bored stiff. They can join the other party if they bring their cakes and do the dishes afterwards!
A recognisable story with beautiful illustrations. Brigitte Minne is popular children’s author, who has written more than 100 books. An Candaele is a very promising illustrator.
