Sophie and Tim meet in a palliative care unit, where their grandfathers share a room. During their visits the four of them get to know each other. Both grandfathers deal differently with death – one of them doesn’t want to die, the other wishes his life will end soon. Connected through the farewell of their grandfathers Sophie and Tim slowly start to develop feelings for each other. At the same time, they discover the devastating truth. The lives of their grandfathers are connected by a catastrophic incident in the past. Will it drive them apart?
